Metered Broadband Use

Time Warner is testing metered use of the broadband Internet.  There are Internet users that transfer a lot of data, which causes slower service for everyone else.  Providers like Time Warner are trying to find a way to make this work for everyone.

Beaumont is hosting a trial of their new metered service, with the packages offering between 5gb and 40gb per month.  At the high end, it should cost between $50 and $60 per month.

If anyone is in Beaumont, let us know how this goes.
