YouTube’s April Fool

If you can get to YouTube today, check it out. It’s provided a text-only version of most videos, but it’s not as you expect!

You should be able to do this with most videos. Look in the bottom right of the video and you should see an option to change the resolution, e.g., 480p and 380p. They’ve added “”TEXTp” as an additional option. Choose this and then run your video:
According to YouTube, by viewing their videos in text mode, we’re saving them both bandwidth and money – $1 per second!
