I agree about the deficiencies, but it's not ready for primetime quite yet. That said, I like it much better than either IE or Opera or Firefox.

It's fast, but it has some deficiencies, like no print preview.

Check out the CD/DVD dispensing system made in USA for libraries. Already installed in many libraries across the country, this eliminates the issues of media management and security….plus it houses a complete self-check in it.

Check it out at: http://www.allCIRC.com …there are also some cool YouTube videos there of its operation.

Michael --

I checked this out myself and it seems that the Blog Readability Test has been taken down -- at least for a while. I couldn't quickly find anything about its status. Sigh . . .

I found another, but it is taking a long time. You can try it at:
http://immike.net/charlotte/

There are also website readability tests, one of which is here:
http://juicystudio.com/services/readability.php#readweb
Unlike blog tests, this only tests a single web page and would include comments.

Thanks for the heads up!

I really wanted to test my blog readability, but that seems to be a broken link. On the other hand, my blog is worth "$0.00"!!

Hmmm . . . I couldn't find anywhere a list of the vendors they'd already worked with. It's good to know it's starting to become available. Thanks!

Hmm, actually I've got Swype, in the form of the WritingPad application on my iPhone now. Unfortunately, it turns out that my touch typing muscle memory does not translate into knowing which way to send my finger to get to the next letter in a word. But the interface, with practice does work well.

You're right - I even found an article about it: http://androidguys.com/?p=2810.

While I was there, I found that the Android Guys had started a weekly series on new Android applications. The first is already up:
http://androidguys.com/?p=2789

Might be interesting to follow -- just to see the types of functionality that will be available.

Thanks, David!
