Replacing PowerPoint

Eric Meyer (of Cascading Style Sheets fame) has created S5 (A Simple Standards-Based Slide Show System). First of all, I like it because it is standards-based and accessible. It runs using XHTML, CSS, and javascript. You create a single file and can both run a slideshow from it and get a printable version.

The next time I create a short presentation, I’m going to try it out. Maybe it will replace PowerPoint for me (you never know).
