Magnifier

The next couple of posts are mainly for me . . . so I don’t lose these links.

The Magnifier is a mix of CSS and javascript that allows one to magnify parts of an image. There is a great example at persistent.info, where it was created. If you have a detailed graphic (this one is a jpg; haven’t tried it with a tif), this might be helpful.

If you view the course of the page, you can see the CSS and javascript used to create the magnification. With a little finagling, you should be able to use this with other graphics.
