VoIP Providers May Pay into USF

A Federal Communications Commission board on universal service has suggested that any company using the public switched network should provide funds for the Universal Service Fund. This would primarily affect VoIP providers that allow you to call those that are not on their network.

Comments are currently being accepted by the FCC on this issue.
