Study: Cell Phones Do Not Cause Cancer
Researchers, using the entire population of Denmark, followed cell phone users who subscribed between 1982 and 1995 through the year 2002. They found that neither short-term or long-term “was linked to a greater risk of tumors of the brain and nervous system, salivary gland or eyes, leukemia or cancer overall.”
The number of cell phone users that did contract cancer was actually lower than expected. One limitation of the study was the inability to see if there was a difference between those that used their phones quite a bit and those that used them a little.
