Posted by on If so, the Texas Heritage Digitization Initiative (THDI) would like to know about them. This initiative, based inside the Texas State Library and Archives Commission:
. . . is a cooperative project to identify, describe, digitize, preserve, and make broadly accessible special collections of history and culture held by libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, and other institutions in Texas.
Their web site currently includes collections from twelve organizations:
- Austin Public Library
- Dallas Public Library
- Fort Bend Museum Association
- North Richland Hills Public Library
- Stephen F. Austin State University
- Texas A&M University
- Texas General Land Office
- Texas Historical Commission
- Texas State Library and Archives Commission
- University of North Texas
- University of Texas at Arlington
- University of Texas at Austin
