12GB USB Hard Drives

Verbatim unveiled new USB drives at the 2007 Consumer Electronic Show. The largest will be 12GB. Although it is not yet on their web site, PCMag.com states that this Store ‘n’ Go hard drive should be the size of a credit card, have a flip-out connector and an extension cable. It also comes with Mobile Launchpad, which allows you to download and run applications directly from the USB drive.

This drive should be available sometime this month and should retail around $180.

You might want to change two things in this post:

    1. You have “128GB” rather than “12GB” in the text.

    2. According to the PCMag article, at least, it’s not a flash drive: It’s a USB hard-disk drive: Rotating electromechanical memory, not solid-state memory.

Thanks for checking up on me! šŸ˜‰ I’ve updated the article so hopefully, no one else will find the wrong information.

Almost. The post *title* still says “Flash”

Sorry. I didn’t point that out originally. (I know I’m not inclined to look at the title of a post I’ve already posted either!)

Think I got it this time — thanks again!
