Touch Screen — From the Back?

Ever have the problem of using a touch screen device, but not being sure if you’re touching the right part of the screen?  Your fingers get in the way.  Researchers have been looking at ways to get around this problem.

One promising way is to put the touch screen on the back of the device, allowing you to see where your finger is when you touch it.  Contrary to popular opinion, you can navigate a very small screen using this method. This is opening up new avenues for research and development for portable devices.
